I am often asked, 'how are you doing?' and generally speaking I am doing very well!!
Although right around Layla's birthday or any other important dates, I do tend to be more sensitive which is to be expected.
While going to the beach, watching Layla's Daddy surf, I was hit with the overwhelming emotion of hearing her say.... "I'm two!" while holding up 2 precious little fingers. It is in those moments that my heart breaks for all of those things that we will never get to experience with our first born!
