3 months

So today marks 3 months since we said hello to our beautiful daughter. Today also marks 3 months since we had to say goodbye--for now!!! I haven't been able to write much in the last 3 months because I have been learning so much about myself, my husband, my marriage, my GOD, my family, my friends, my weaknesses and my strengths... and that is hard to write about. I have learned so much about love and what it means to truly love someone. I have learned that love at first sight does exist!! I have learned that I am more in love with my husband than I ever thought possible! I have learned that marriage is a choice... we CHOOSE to make it work or not to! Greatest Fear

So, the other day I was holding your little brother Lincoln and the thought occurred to me that made me start crying, almost uncontrollably. It wasn't that you were not here with us, but it was the horror of thinking, what if Lincoln doesn't get to spend eternity with you, or any other siblings we may have. I can tell you that before you were born my precious daughter, that I worried, WHAT IF ONE OF MY CHILDREN WERE TO DIE.... As sad as that was, and HEARTBREAKING that you did die.... what is worse is having others who we LOVE... never get to see you.... not get to spend eternity with you!!! So.... I pray that I will have the courage and the strength to not only tell others about YOU, but also about my Lord & Saviour!! The one who gives STRENGTH!! Visiting Layla's Beach

So it has been quite a while since we have been to Layla's Beach (place where we had a celebration paddle out service in honor of our daughter) So when I knew Lincoln & I were going to visit I of course wanted to take him there. Now I wasn't quite sure what we would do but I just needed some time there!! We had met some friends there and it was a great time. Although looking back I wished we could have had a longer time there. I would have walked along the shore & told Lincoln more about his BIG sister Layla. But maybe God was protecting my heart!
